Five “Word of the Day” Poems

In case you missed any of these, here are the first five poems I’ve written based on the Word of the Day from Wordsmith.org or Dictionary.com.

I love the words sooth and serendipity, but those were both words I knew about before they were Words of the Day. Malinger, however, is a word that I’m grateful to have learned because it means “exaggerate or feign illness in order to escape duty or work” and precisely defines what I used frequently do in grade school and sometimes high school. Yes, I’m a menace to the establishment.
