Five “Word of the Day” Poems

In case you missed any of these, here are the first five poems I’ve written based on the Word of the Day from or

I love the words sooth and serendipity, but those were both words I knew about before they were Words of the Day. Malinger, however, is a word that I’m grateful to have learned because it means “exaggerate or feign illness in order to escape duty or work” and precisely defines what I used frequently do in grade school and sometimes high school. Yes, I’m a menace to the establishment.
