Word of the Day Poem: Malinger

Oh but my legs they need slings
And my arms they sting
Call the doc
I probably need some shots
I know I’m really truly ill
But I can’t say for certain what I got
No I’m not malingering
No I’m not a fake
I’m not pretending anything
Except that life has stopped

malinger \ muh-LING-guhr \
verb intr.
1. To feign illness in order to avoid work.
