First Poetry Submission

“Thank you for submitting your work to The New Yorker magazine. Your message has been forwarded to the poetry department, and you should receive a reply within three months.”

I hope there aren’t any publishing conflicts because I submitted Hool poems. I’m about to be exposed for the fraduelent artist I am. I know of one person who was accepted by the New Yorker and their work was more poetic than anything I can slobber out. I’m more of a pop or punk poet. I still want to stick to a DIY route but getting cred and props from the New Yorker would be damned cool, wouldn’t it?

Oh boy…
