What do you think about most on a typical day/week/month?
If someone logged all of your thoughts, what would it show you thought about the most?
Yourself? Your future? Work? Family? A pet? A love? Exercise? Movies?
It’s not necessarily the case that the thing you think about most is the most important thing in your life, even though most people would defend that association. Sometimes important things don’t need to be as thought-intensive because you trust in them. They’re a process that’s been developed into an automatic state like the muscle memory of walking or talking. Those two activities probably aren’t on your mind much, until something happens that makes them difficult or impossible and you realize how important they are to your current notion of life.
